We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Human Resources (HR) Assistant in Wilmington, North Carolina. This role will involve both administrative and strategic tasks, supporting the smooth operation of our HR department and helping to plan and implement key functions such as staffing, training and development, and compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative assistance to the HR department
• Assist in the coordination of HR projects such as meetings, training, and surveys
• Support with the day to day operations of HR functions and duties
• Process documentation and prepare reports regarding personnel activities, including staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, and performance evaluations
• Maintain and update employee records, both physical and digital copies
• Contribute to payroll preparation by supplying relevant data such as absences, bonuses, leaves, etc.
• Participate in ad-hoc HR projects, including the collection of employee feedback
• Provide support for other functions as directed by the HR manager.• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services is required
• Must have experience with ADP Workforce Now
• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode is needed
• Expertise in using Ceridian software is necessary
• Should be skilled in HRMS
• Knowledge of About Time is desirable
• Auditing experience is a must-have
• Should be capable of conducting Background Checks
• Must be proficient in managing Benefit Functions
• Excellent Customer Service skills are required
