Regional HR Manager
We are seeking a Regional HR Manager to oversee human resources operations at a manufacturing plant in Chicago, as well as facilities in Providence, RI, and Grand Rapids, MI. This position requires occasional travel to the other locations and offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR point of contact for three non-union manufacturing facilities.
- Foster employee engagement and build strong relationships across locations.
- Provide support and guidance on employee relations and performance management.
- Ensure consistent administration of HR policies, programs, and compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Oversee HRIS recordkeeping, onboarding, and recruitment efforts.
- Collaborate with management on workforce planning and employee development initiatives.
- Support payroll, benefits, and training program administration.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
- 3+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Strong decision-making skills, managerial courage, and a proactive, positive attitude.
- Experience with HRIS systems; Oracle experience is a plus.
- Ability to navigate employee relations and foster trust within a diverse workforce.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $95,000–$110,000, including a Manufacturing Incentive Plan tied to key performance metrics.
- PTO: 120 hours annually (3 weeks) plus 11 standard and 2 floating holidays.
- Retirement: 401(k) plan with 4% match after 1 year (plan available immediately without match).
- Flexible hours aligned with plant shifts (6:00 AM–2:30 PM and 4:00 PM–12:30 AM).
