Position Overview:
Soliant Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Paraprofessional to join a supportive school district in Farmingdale, ME. The ideal candidate will work closely with teachers and other school staff to provide instructional support, ensuring students' academic and social success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in the implementation of lesson plans and instructional activities.
• Provide one-on-one or small-group support to students with varying needs, including special education students.
• Support students in developing academic, social, and behavioral skills.
• Monitor and document student progress and behavior.
• Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and parents to address individual student needs.
• Assist with classroom management and organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree or higher preferred).
• Prior experience working with children in a school or childcare setting is a plus.
• Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help students succeed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting students with special needs or working in a school environment.
• Knowledge of instructional strategies and behavior management techniques.
• Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) is a plus.
