Compensation
Hourly base pay rate is $25.58 - $38.37/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Job Description

Cox Automotive is seeking an Executive Assistant I to provide administrative leadership and support to the Enterprise Technology leadership team. The EA will provide a wide range of administrative support and event planning for multiple Vice Presidents of Enterprise Technology and their teams. The ideal candidate will exercise good judgement in a variety of situations with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, event planning and organizational skills and with the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple competing priorities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plans, organizes, and coordinates meetings, events, calendars, and the daily activities of multiple Vice Presidents


  • As an Atlanta-based EA, supports the onsite needs of the Vice Presidents of Enterprise Technology , while continuously partnering with the primary EA to the CIO.


  • Works closely with other Senior Leadership team members and other EAs to keep everyone well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately.


  • Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks, including completing expense reports, composing and preparing correspondence, ordering catering, arranging detailed travel plans, preparing agendas, etc.


  • Plans and executes event planning, team building events, and special projects for small groups to very large groups, including specifically leading weekly events with a planning committee to drive a culture emphasizing that being together in person is critical.


  • Handles sensitive and confidential information that cannot be shared.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum

  • High School Diploma/GED and 2 years' experience in a related field (administration, event planning) or any level degree/certification beyond a High School diploma/GED in a related discipline and 3 years' experience.


  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft suite of products with an emphasis on Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, Excel and SharePoint.


  • Strong written, and verbal communication skills to field inquiries professionally and efficiently.


  • Excellent planning, calendar management, organizational, meeting coordination and project management skills


  • Event or party planning experience, especially for large groups (50+).


  • Highly creative and energetic in approach.


  • Mental acuity and physical agility to execute the duties of the position successfully within required timeframes


  • Resourceful team player who is detail-oriented, delivers on a highly efficient work environment, effectively prioritizes and has superior time management skills


  • Must have high standard of ethics and experience maintaining confidential business and personnel's sensitive information


  • Embraces new technology, change and good communication, and with a flexible approach / mindset


  • Seeks efficiency through enhanced processes, collaboration and new learnings


Preferred

  • BS/BA Business Administration, Management or Operations


  • Experience directly reporting to and supporting Executives and their teams.


  • Ability to work effectively with teams throughout an organization, navigate a network effectively, and gain support from others


Benefits

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, parental leave, and COVID-19 vaccination leave.
