We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Assistant in Floresville, Texas. This role is in the Manufacturing industry and will involve handling billing and accounts receivable processes, engaging in telephone interactions, maintaining meticulous records, utilizing Excel skills for data analysis, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently and accurately manage the billing and accounts receivable processes.
• Regularly interact with customers and suppliers through phone calls to address inquiries and resolve issues.
• Keep detailed records and ensure all financial transactions are properly documented.
• Use advanced Excel skills, such as vlookups and charts, to analyze financial data and generate reports.
• Work collaboratively with the accounting team to support various tasks and projects.
• Deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role as an Accounting Assistant
• Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems
• Demonstrated understanding and execution of Accounting Functions
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Familiarity with Epicor ERP system would be advantageous
• Experience with Quickbooks Online is a must
• Proficiency in Excel Formulas and Microsoft Excel for accounting purposes
• Experience in Billing and invoicing procedures
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team and independently
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred
