Position Summary
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to gain experience and work with skilled Medical and Pharmacy professionals in a fast-paced, professional setting? If so, the College of Pharmacy - New Mexico Poison and Drug Information Center (NMPDIC) is looking for students to assist with the following duties and responsibilities under the supervision of licensed pharmacist(s), faculty, and/or other upper management professionals:
- Assist with frontend responsibilities including answering phone, assisting guests, taking messages, checking Xerox paper supplies, stock coffee, scanning and filing documents and other administrative tasks.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including overseeing Client Satisfaction Survey program.
- Data entry, creating and editing documents, forms and files.
- Prepare mailings and documents for mailings and public education.

- Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills.
- Required computer proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and internet.
- Proficient in use of office equipment (fax, scanner, printer, laptop and others).
