Summary You will serve as a Security Assistant (Office Automation) at Naval Base Guam. The duty station is Santa Rita, Guam. Responsibilities You will perform or more of the following functions: Security, Administration, Supply, and/or Vehicle control. As a Security Assistant, you will perform and/or monitor standardized aspects of security program operation. As an Administrative Security Assistant, you will assist and guide staff in procedural office work and prepare correspondence, providing information to the appropriate parties. As a Supply Assistant, you will maintain and obtain supplies for the organization, including submitted documentation to obtain supplies. As a Vehicle Control Program Assistant, you will provide documentation, reports, vehicle maintenance information, and technical information, including information on the Vehicle Leasing Program. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector using knowledge of administrative, security, and/or supply policies to perform the following: 1) Complying with established rules, regulations, practices, and guidance to perform provide administrative assistance 2) Using correct grammar, spelling, capitalization, punctuation, and terminology commonly used in office settings to prepare material correctly. 3) Performing general administration, security, and/or supply activities. 4.) Using office automation software to include knowledge and experience with office automation software, such as, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access). 5) Effectively communicating orally and writing to provide administrative support and customer service, using appropriate tact.
