Production Coordinator Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in the coordination and execution of production orders, ensuring timely and efficient delivery. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, ability to multitask, and a strong passion for production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and schedule production orders, including planning, organizing, and tracking progress
• Assist in managing production timelines, budgets, and resources
• Communicate with cross-functional teams, including workers, supervisors, and the GM
• Prepare and distribute production documents, such as shop cards, schedules, and reports
• Manage and maintain production databases, spreadsheets, and filing systems
• Assist in procuring equipment, permits, and other production-related materials
• Troubleshoot production-related issues and provide solutions
• Collaborate with the post-production team to ensure a smooth transition of orders

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in production coordination or a related field
• Strong knowledge of production workflows and processes
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in production software and tools, such as QuickBooks, Excel and other Microsoft Office programs

Nice to Have:

• Experience in a foundry production company
• Knowledge of production scheduling software and technologies
