Duties

• Supervise daily production activities, ensuring compliance with HACCP, CGMP, and FDA regulations.
• Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
• Train and mentor team members on food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and operational protocols.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of production data, including inventory levels and waste management.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize production schedules and resolve any operational issues.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a food processing or food production environment.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, including HACCP and CGMP standards.
• Basic math skills for inventory management and production calculations.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely (certification preferred).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining sanitation practices.
• Familiarity with FDA regulations related to food industry operations is highly desirable.
