MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Maintain and uphold the company’s safety and quality standards and those set by industry while performing tasks.
  • Run operational equipment for production lines to meet scheduled requirements and customer orders.
  • Handle finished goods and raw materials while properly following all operational procedures as directed.
  • Conduct quality checks on the production lines as required by QA guidelines.
  • Verify accuracy of raw materials and finished product documentation and production reporting paperwork.
  • Lead and coordinate work with the production staff
  • Efficiently carry out KPO targets and minimize waste in all areas at the direction of the Operations Supervisor/Plant Manager.
  • Accurately complete shift paperwork and reports daily.
  • Attend regular safety training exercises and other company meetings.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards in production areas to company expectations.
  • Liaise with all internal and external partners to ensure appropriate and timely flow of materials into and out of production area to meet customer delivery and service levels.
  • Assume additional responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Demonstrates strong problem-solving, teamwork and communication skills.​

  • Can effectively manage time and meet all specified deadlines.

  • Can lift up to 50 lbs.

  • ​Experience with production/bottling in similar food industry and/or manufacturing.

  • Be able to work overtime and weekends.

  • Be able to cover any production shifts in case of call offs, PTOs, and any other absences.

LEADERSHIP SKILLS REQUIRED: 

  • Can effectively lead and motivate a team.
  • Work cross functionally with all other departments
  • Team-oriented with strong interpersonal communication skills

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED: 

  • Current forklift certification for sit down style forklifts preferred
  • Possesses good reading, writing, and verbal communication skills in English.

EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIRED: 

  • High School degree, diploma or a GED equivalent qualification from a certified college

 WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 

  • This job operates in a food manufacturing environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand 90% of time
