Job Title: HR Specialist (Recruiting & Onboarding)
Work Hours: 7:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, OT when necessary
Location: Hybrid and must be local, but 90% remote
Compensation: The starting pay for this position ranges from $26.00 to $30.00 per hour, depending on experience. Over time, this role has the potential to earn up to $36.00 per hour based on tenure, performance, and experience.

Primary Job Function: The HR specialist will be in charge of full cycle recruiting and onboarding of new team members.
Daily Duties:
- Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions
- Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
- Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies
- Creates and maintains personnel files.
- Conduct pre-employment and onboarding which includes background checks, drug testing administration, employment verifications, new hire orientation, etc.
- Perform all offboarding duties which include, exit interviews, and other company policies
- Other duties as assigned.
