Job Description Develop and maintain strategies using lean manufacturing principles for manufacturing processes and equipment design, workplace layouts, material flow, and workforce optimization to meet strategic goals. Create and maintain manufacturing documentation and quality plans according to company standards (including process flow diagrams, control plans, PFMEA, PQIs, process control documentation, standard work instructions, etc…). Effectively implement / coordinate engineering changes, new manufacturing / product releases, and capacity increases including PPAP preparation and build. Identify and lead projects to improve cost, quality, delivery, utilization, and safety of manufacturing processes in order to meet key metrics within the workshop. Responsible for the identification and acquisition of new equipment/processes to support requirements. Adapt existing equipment to run new product types and variations. Investigate and solve manufacturing/machining process problems. Qualifications BS in Engineering (Electrical or Mechatronic or related) and minimum 3 years technical experience Ability to read mechanic and electric drawings, pneumatic and hydraulic plans. Basic understanding of programming/coding. High level of teamwork, self-initiative, and ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment. Experience using lean manufacturing and problem solving and analytical skills. Project management skills. Demonstrate discipline and consistency regarding adherence to established standards/policies. Ability to perform in a high dynamic area with constantly changing requirements. Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Self-starting, results oriented, flexible, team player. Ability to teach and work with workshop personnel. Communicate and interact effectively including presentation skills.
