Job Title: Racquet Sports Associate

Reports To: Director of Racquet Sports


Position Description: Ensuring the smooth operation of our racquet sports facilities, including tennis courts, reservations, and member/guests merchandise purchases. Provide exceptional customer service to our guests and members, ensuring they have a positive experience every time they visit. The position is part-time, with an hourly range between $17.15 - $21.00 depending on experience.

  1. Adheres to Club policy and procedures
  2. Acts as a role model within and outside the Club
  3. Maintains a positive and respectful attitude
  4. Communicates regularly with supervisor about department issues
  5. Demonstrates flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload
  6. Consistently reports to work on time prepared to perform duties of position
  7. Maintains confidentiality of all data
  8. Meets department productivity standards

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Handles court, lesson and ball machine scheduling
  2. Is proficient and effective in running the club reservation system
  3. Handles member pro charges and tally’s shift end reports
  4. Assists with merchandising and re-stocking when necessary
  5. Handles re-string and re-grip orders
  6. Takes special orders and processes them according to shop procedures
  7. Promotes and sells tennis shop merchandise and services
  8. Sets up and puts away ball machine
  9. Performs any and all other duties as assigned by supervisor
