About the Job

Were looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with specialized experience in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) to step into a crucial role in Indianapolis. As a vital part of our cardiovascular team, you'll use your expertise in post-operative care to provide life-saving support for our patients.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Deliver specialized nursing care to CVICU patients, utilizing advanced tools like the CVVH/Nxstage machine and Impellas.

• Implement and monitor personalized patient care plans, ensuring continuous, high-quality support.

• Serve as the main coordinator for all disciplines to provide well-integrated patient care.

• Conduct assessments, execute physician and nursing orders, and support discharge planning in collaboration with the healthcare team.

Requirements:

• Current CVICU RN certification, with a traveler RN-CVICU background preferred.

• Proven proficiency with Swan-Ganz catheters and experience caring for post-operative cardiovascular patients.
