About the Role:
Bel Oak of Lemay is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN/DON to join our team. As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the highest level of patient care. You will be expected to lead by example and provide guidance to the nursing team, while also collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. Your ultimate goal will be to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care and experience during their stay.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Active RN license in the state of Missouri
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a nursing leadership role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing or related field
- Certification in nursing leadership or administration
- Experience working in a hospital or acute care setting
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the nursing staff, ensuring that all patient care is delivered in accordance with established standards and protocols
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide guidance and support to the nursing team, including training and development opportunities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards of practice
