Traveling RN Director of Nursing Opportunity!

Required experience:

1. 5+ years within a Skilled Nursing Facility
2. Prior Director of Nursing experience, Regional experience preferred

Schedule: This role would have a schedule of 10 days on, 4 days off. Traveling would be to different Brookdale CCRC communities (currently located in 12 different states: Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Kansas, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island, South Carolina, and Texas).

This position would fill in for different clinical leadership roles within the CCRC communities and supervise licensed and non-licensed direct care associates. We are looking for an experienced clinical leader, focused on building strong teams with a positive culture, to provide the best support to those we serve.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage the day-to-day healthcare operations of the community to ensure residents' healthcare needs are met.
2. Supervise licensed nurses and other direct care staff within the community.
3. Oversee and validate all resident care to ensure needs are met in accordance with physician orders, care plans, policies/procedures, and state and federal regulations.
4. Travel within the division as assigned to support management vacancies, start-ups, vacations, etc.
5. Provide training, supervision, and monitoring of associates in medication administration.
6. Assess the health, functional and psycho-social status of residents, initiate individualized service plans, and manage care and services for each resident.
7. Participate in pre-admission screening of prospective new residents.
8. Evaluate residents, document changes in condition, and notify appropriate parties of conditions and reactions.
9. Participate in department quality improvement activities.

Qualifications:

1. Education as required to obtain state nursing license (RN).
2. Five years of skilled nursing experience as a Director of Nursing (DON) or District/Regional Nurse Consultant required.
3. RN license.

Salary Range Information:

$85,260.00 - $108,610.00 / year
