FIDELITY HOTEL is hiring for a HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR

Fidelity Hotel is an adaptive reuse project located at 1940 E. 6th Street in the historic 103-year-old Baker Building. Fidelity Hotel will have 97 guest rooms & suites, each with tailored amenities, custom-designed furniture, and thoughtfully curated art. The property will feature a full-service restaurant, bar, event & meeting spaces, and a private dining room. Fidelity Hotel is an homage to Cleveland’s long-standing ideals. What you'll do:

  • Supervise the housekeeping team; assign and delegate tasks, ensuring efficient coverage and proper work distribution
  • Set and maintain high cleanliness and service standards throughout the hotel; conduct regular inspections to ensure that all housekeeping activities meet established criteria
  • Provide training to new team members and ongoing development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge; conduct regular training sessions to reinforce proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols
  • Monitor housekeeping supplies, linens, and equipment inventory; coordinate with the appropriate department to ensure an adequate stock of housekeeping supplies
  • Coordinate with the front office to ensure that guest rooms are ready for occupancy; maintain accurate records of room status and work closely with the front office to manage room inventory
  • Address guest concerns or feedback related to housekeeping promptly and effectively; strive to enhance guest satisfaction through exceptional service
  • Ensure that all housekeeping practices adhere to safety and security protocols; comply with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
  • Prepare and maintain cleaning schedules for all areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and employee areas; monitor staff adherence to schedules and address any issues
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on housekeeping operations including room occupancy, cleaning schedules, and staff performance
  • Work collaboratively with other departments such as maintenance and front office to address any maintenance or guest-related issues that may require attention
  • Assist in the implementation of special projects
  • Be available to fill in and assist in other areas as needed to ensure the efficient operation of the outlet as directed by the outlet manager and attend relevant meetings as directed

Who you are:

  • You have1-3+ years of experience in a housekeeping role preferred.
  • English and Spanish fluency preferred.
  • You can interpret standard operating procedures, safety, and sanitation instructions.
  • You are detail-oriented and take ownership of your work.
  • You use your time wisely and are an expert in prioritizing.
  • You have a strong work ethic and can work both autonomously and with a team.
  • You're an excellent communicator and lead by example.
