Senior Software Engineer

Job Role and Responsibility
: Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments; Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures; Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments; Contribute to large scale planning of strategies; Resolve moderately complex issues and collaborate with a team to meet existing client needs or new client needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements; Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals; Telecommuting is permitted up to 2 days a week. Position must appear in person to the location listed as the work address.

Required Qualifications
: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field. Position requires 5 years of experience in the job offered, as a Systems Analyst, Program Analyst, Application Developer, or in a related position involving software engineering experience.
Specific skills required:
5 years of information technology systems design and planning experience; in data, systems, applications, or architecture
5 years of experience writing relational database queries for stored procedures, query optimization and performance tuning
5 years of technical design experience
3 years of experience with Waterfall and Agile project methodologies
2 years of experience with collections in the financial industry
2 years of experience with PLSQL and Unix
1 year of Autosys experience
1 year of MongoDB experience
Cloud services such as AWS or Azure, Java, JSON, Maven, Oracle, SVN, UNIX experience
Microservices, REST, Apache Kafka, GIT, Jenkins, SOAP, and REST web services experience
Spring Framework, Apache Tomcat, J2EE, Software Development, SQL experience
