The Legal Administrative Assistant will handle a variety of administrative tasks to support the legal department and other teams. This position involves preparing reports, managing schedules, handling correspondence, and assisting with events and projects as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general administrative duties, including answering phones and managing correspondence.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and routine correspondence.
- Maintain scheduling and meeting coordination for various departments.
- Assist in planning events, arranging travel accommodations, and coordinating logistics.
- Support corporate initiatives such as training programs, career fairs, and open enrollment meetings.
- Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Uphold professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; associates degree preferred.
- 1-2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a legal or corporate setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and email communication.
- Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Additional Details:
- Schedule: Monday - Friday (8-hour workday)
- Work Environment: Onsite, professional office setting
- Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for extended periods, use hands and fingers for typing, and maintain close and peripheral vision for document review
