This position will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategy for achieving significant market share for Geosyntec in the Water for the Food and Beverage market area. This position is well-suited for a talented, experienced individual interested in leading innovative and challenging water and wastewater projects and working with a dedicated team of peers to transform a business. Some of the key responsibilities for this client-facing position include: Strategic business planning to segment and target specific industrial, commercial, and municipal clients for projects such as water supply, water treatment, and water re-use, focused on the food and beverage market. Engagement with project and operations staff to align Geosyntec's full-service delivery capabilities with the market demands of the food and beverage industry. Participation in the development and implementation of the firm's strategic plan. Implementation of a personal business development plan to expand services and revenue with new and existing clients. Serve as a Client Account Manager on selected accounts critical to the water market. Active participation in professional societies, conferences, and meetings to increase visibility. Project directorship, ensuring client expectations are met and budgets adhered to. Recruiting, managing, and mentoring junior staff and mid-career engineers and scientists. Reviewing and leading the preparation of major proposals. Preparing for and participating in meetings with clients and regulatory personnel. Fieldwork including contractor oversight and process troubleshooting tasks. Education and Licensure

Bachelor's degree in engineering (civil, chemical, or environmental preferred). (required) Advanced degree (same as above). (preferred) Professional registration (i.e., P.E.). (required) Skills, Experience and Qualifications

At least 15 years (20+ years preferred) of progressive experience in the consulting industry. (required) Demonstrated experience in industrial and municipal clients with water supply, water treatment, and water re-use projects. (required) Demonstrated working knowledge of Federal and State regulations. (required) Experience managing multi-disciplinary project teams. (required) Demonstrated success in client management and practice growth. (required) Excellent leadership and detail-orientation skills. (required) Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment. (required) Strong oral and technical writing skills. (required) Valid U.S driver's license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required) This opportunity will be posted for at least five days. Below are the potential compensation ranges: Minimum Salary: $173,175/year / Maximum Salary: $259,765/year (Oakland & Los Angeles, CA) Minimum Salary: $158,115/year / Maximum Salary: $237,175/year (Syracuse, NY) Minimum Salary: $165,645/year / Maximum Salary: $248,470/year (Washington DC, Seattle, WA) We offer a comprehensive benefits package to all eligible employees including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
