Responsibilities and Accountabilities

The Role:

In this role, you'll closely support our HR Team at Marina View and assist other sites as needed. You'll interact with HR team members, employees, vendors, and senior management, gaining valuable exposure. You'll contribute to initiatives like training programs, developing internal Careers sites, and assisting with recruiting efforts and intern onboarding.
  • Support HR team with special projects and issues as needed, including communication with select employee groups.
  • Gain experience in handling inquiries from employees and managers at all levels, covering policy interpretation to performance.
  • Acquire basic knowledge of regulations and manage non-complex HR-related employee requests.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve employee and system issues, including FMLA processing and affirmative action plans.
  • Assist in transitioning files to electronic systems and present internship summary to management.
  • Effectively communicate with senior management and customers, adhering to INEOS 20 Principles.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Skills and Knowledge

Education/Experience
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in HR, business, economics, communications, or a STEM field.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is required.
  • Completion of sophomore year is required.
Technical Skills
  • Performs work under frequent, direct supervision while understanding technical aspects of the role.
  • Familiar with general business processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel.
