Job Summary

The Mailroom Assistant will assist in receiving, delivering, and shipping all mail, parcels and freight for the University.

Essential Duties
  • Receive, sort, and document all incoming mail, parcels, and freight.
  • Deliver items to departments across campus.
  • Process outgoing mail and parcels meeting USPS guidelines.
  • Deliver outgoing mail and parcels to shipping establishments.
  • Meet daily deadlines.
  • Follows directions and procedures
Required Qualifications
  • MWSU Student
  • Degree Seeking
  • At least an overall 2.0 GPA
  • Enrolled at least part-time
  • Valid Driver's License is required.

Physical Demands
Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Additional Demands

Able to lift up to 75 pounds on occasion.
