Job Summary
The Program Assistant for the Center for Student Involvement (CSI) will be responsible to develop and implement programs and services for the MWSU student body, including staffing the CSI front desk, assisting with publicity and marketing, assisting with retention outreach, and engaging with the student body.
Essential Duties
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, greet students, ensure the office is functioning properly, and provide office resources.
- Assist other students who visit the CSI along with organizing and maintaining the CSI processes.
- Students will be responsible for checking the daily email on the CIS email, ensuring cleanliness of office, assisting on the Poster Route when needed, and assisting the Director or Student Development.

- Degree Seeking
- At least an overall 2.0 GPA
- Enrolled at least part-time (minimum 6 hours)
- Must qualify for federal work study financial assistance.
- An enrolled college student who shows interest and a positive attitude in learning in an intercultural work environment.
- Must have a willingness to interact with people, and ability to keep confidentiality.
- Must be able to handle professional situations, be attentive to other students and be punctual.
- Strong communicator, empathy, good proofreading, and time management skills.
