This role is not eligible for H-1B or other employment visa sponsorship Prepare and execute the submission of US Customs Entries to ensure the timely release of cargo importing into some of the largest ports in the United States Analyze and evaluate data flows from our customers into our operational systems Identify and manage exceptions while also identifying opportunities for continual improvement and evolution Work within the multi-agency regulatory environment, ensuring that Customs declarations are prepared in compliance with all Partner Government Agencies Meet or exceed performance goals and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) Utilize an array of specialized Expeditors software to increase the compliance and efficiency of our team Meet company standards of 52 hours training per year per employee Promote compliance by diligently following all company policies and regulations and performing the task at hand with outstanding integrity and pride Exemplify the company's 10 cultural attributes: Appearance, Attitude, Confidence, Curiosity, Excellence, Integrity, Pride, Resolute, Sense of Humor, and Visionary Driven and motivated individual desiring to embark on or continue a career in the exciting world of international logistics and global trade Understanding of the importance of quality customer service and its effect on all facets of a successful business and brand Exceptional collaborative skills working in a close-knit and competitive team of brokerage agents Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and OneNote Proven ability to learn new software and utilize evolving technologies Understanding and interest in the world of international logistics and global supply chains Proactive and organized approach to learning and executing on the job A U.S. Customs Broker License is not required All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
