Experience and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two years of secretarial experience preferred
- Computer I Data entry skills
- Familiarity with student information systems in a school setting preferred.
- Basic understanding of computer products preferred
- Ability to interact with others in a manner that demonstrates professionalism, respect, and dignity.
- Act 34 Clearance, Act 151 Clearance, FBI Clearance (self-paid)
- Drug Screening (self-paid)
- Act 126 & Act 71 Training Certificates
- Letter of Interest, Resume and Application through the District website
- Performs general secretarial duties, applying knowledge of specific office practices and routines
- Open and scan mail and attach pertinent file data.
- Compose routine letters and memoranda
- Receive visitors and direct them to the appropriate staff member
- Type a variety of letters and reports
- Maintain daily inventory of equipment in IT stockroom.
- Accumulate data and maintain records and files of confidential and other data and prepare special reports pertinent to Supervisor's responsibilities as directed
- Complete special assignments and reports as requested
- Answer questions on routine matters, obtain answers or refer questions to appropriate personne
- Maintain adequate stock of office supplies
- Improve existing office methods and procedures, forms and filing systems
- Answer telephones, receive and transmit messages, answer questions and transfer calls as required
- Obtain quotes and process purchase orders and invoices for technology equipment according to District procurement guidelines
- Process incoming orders and inventory
- Assist with project tracking
- Assist in tracking IT staff absences and vacations via shared calendar
- Assist with tracking IT needs within the District
- Record minutes for all team meetings and distribute
- Schedule all employee check-ins, monthly building check-ins and department meetings
- Operate a variety of office equipment such as computer, calculator, copier and fax equipment
- Any other duties assigned by supervisor
