Work Schedule Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Sensitive Position No Job Description Paul D. Camp Community College is a small 2-year college in Southeast Virginia. Campuses are located in Franklin and Suffolk. There also is a center in Smithfield. The college offers associate degrees, certificates, and career studies certificates In transfer and career/technical programs; credit and non-credit workforce services and training for businesses and industries; special interest classes for the community; and summer classes for youth through the Regional Workforce Development Center. A dual enrollment program for high school students, online courses, and developmental studies classes are available at the college as well. This is a Full Time Administrative Position. The position is partially funded by the Earn To Learn Grant. The position provides clerical and administrative support for the NAH programs. The Admin Assistant demonstrates competence in typing, maintaining inventories, writing adjunct contracts, completing travel requests, providing excellent computer skills using word and excel, ensuring all clinical credentialing is completed, clinical affiliate agreements along with clinical affiliates have what they need, and provides excellent customer service. Assists in the management of records for the department to include student records. The position assists in the data gathering for the grant, procurement responsibilities, pulling reports for budget review; review and the other reports needed for the grant and the department. 1.Provides comprehensive admin. assistance to the NAH and the Dean. 2.Provide project management services in collaboration with the faculty and the Dean. 3.Maintain comprehensive record keeping systems- hard copy and digital. 4.Assist with program publications(Brochures/Fliers/website info) 5.Procurement via Online procurement portal. 6.Support program Accreditation and certification 7.Maintain clinical facility and adjunct contracts 8.Maintain comprehensive record keeping systems 9.Reviews clinical requirements for NAH programs for all NAH adjuncts, faculty, and students. 10.Special events - coordination with the faculty and the WFDC staff. 11.Takes minutes for monthly faculty meetings. 12.Take minutes at advisory committee meetings for the NAH and ETL Grant. 13.Assists in the monitoring and record keeping of ETL Students 14.Assists in the communication between the Sentara OBICI and Camp Community College Nursing programs for the ETL Grant. 15.Excellent interviewing skills with the students. 16.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills demonstrated through student, faculty, staff and administration interactions. 17.Demonstrates competency in typing, filing and maintaining inventories. 18.Demonstrates proficiency in the use of computer through email communication, use of word, spreadsheet use, virtual meeting interactions and creative software 19.Familiar with online procurement systems and/or willing to learn. 20.Ability to adhere to deadlines within the college and the department. Special Assignments May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor. KSA's/Required Qualifications 1.High School Diploma or equivalent 2.Experience with computers 3.Experience with customer services 4.Basic understanding of office equipment 5.Knowledge of office management systems and procedures. Additional Considerations 1.Experience within the VCCS. 2.Experience with higher education faculty, staff, and students 3.Experience with Word, Excel, and Microsoft/Google software. 4.Experience with contract construction for adjunct and clinical faculty 5.Familiarity with procurement systems and purchasing procedures.
