The Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board (MSRB) seeks a Business Analyst Intern to directly assist the MSRB's Regulatory Support Product Management team with a range of projects. This internship is designed to be both educational and practical to provide an intern with the opportunity to gain valuable on-the-job training within a professional setting. Ideal candidates should be pursuing an undergraduate degree in a Business or Information Technology-related subject. Candidates must be available to complete the eight-week internship program during Summer 2025 and work 40 hours. Compensation for this internship will be a wage of $20.00 per hour. General Duties and Responsibilities Help to define clear requirements for the team to implement Assist with cost benefit analysis and articulating the value proposition for a given effort Assist with defining test cases from a functional business perspective Engage with the team in planning activities and other ceremonies related to agile product delivery Assist with ensuring appropriate documentation and artifacts are collected Assist with reporting and communications regarding product delivery Provide feedback and recommendations for improvements with respect to product delivery Education/Qualifications Rising undergraduate junior or senior currently enrolled at an accredited college/university pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or related field. This position requires proficiency in Microsoft Excel or PowerPoint, attention to detail, the ability to prioritize among competing efforts and proactive communication skills. Must have the ability to handle confidential information and work independently to prioritize and complete work assignments.
