Job Description

We are looking for a strategic and experienced

Senior Account Manager

to lead the Account Management team, ensuring seamless operations and driving growth. In this on-site role based in the Greater Hartford area, you will manage a team of account managers, maintain key client relationships, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership:

Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Account Management department. Staff Development:

Mentor and coach team members to enhance performance and support career development. KPIs and Performance Metrics:

Establish and track departmental goals aligned with business objectives. Account Strategies:

Develop and execute strategies to increase revenue, retain customers, and enhance satisfaction. Client Relationship Management:

Maintain and grow relationships with key accounts by addressing client needs and providing customized solutions. Proactive Account Reviews:

Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling through regular reviews. Issue Resolution:

Ensure swift resolution of customer concerns, maintaining high satisfaction levels. Collaboration:

Work with sales, marketing, technical support, supply chain, and regulatory teams to optimize service delivery. Continuous Improvement:

Share client feedback with internal teams to refine products and services. New Business Support:

Partner with Business Development to onboard new clients and transition accounts effectively. Reporting and Insights:

Present regular updates on account performance and key metrics to senior leadership. The Successful Applicant

The

Senior Account Manager

will have:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline. At least 5 years of experience in account management, sales, or customer service, preferably in specialty chemicals or pharmaceuticals. Proven ability to manage key accounts and lead revenue growth initiatives. A minimum of 3 years managing and mentoring teams to success. Deep understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing, regulatory requirements, and specialty chemical applications. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite. Analytical and data-driven approach to problem-solving. What's on Offer
