We are currently looking to add a Human Resources Intern to our team in St. Cloud, MN In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the HR Team by assisting with recruitment, onboarding, employee record management, and other administrative tasks, while gaining hands-on experience in all HR functions and policies.
What can I expect in this role?
The internship is from May-August. The intern will work Monday-Friday normal business hours.

We are currently looking to add a Human Resources Intern to our team in St. Cloud, MN In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the HR Team by assisting with recruitment, onboarding, employee record management, and other administrative tasks, while gaining hands-on experience in all HR functions and policies.
What can I expect in this role?

Some key duties in this role include:
- Recruitment Support:
- Assist in sourcing candidates through job postings and databases.
- Screen resumes and schedule interviews.
- Coordinate communication between candidates and recruiters.
- Onboarding and Orientation:
- Help prepare onboarding materials for new hires.
- Facilitate new employee orientation sessions.
- Ensure completion of required forms and documentation.
- Employee Records Management:
- Maintain and update employee files in compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Assist in tracking employee performance reviews and training records.
- HR Policies and Compliance:
- Support the creation and distribution of HR policies and guidelines.
- Assist with compliance audits and reporting as needed.
- Training and Development:
- Help organize and schedule training sessions or workshops.
- Monitor attendance and gather feedback from participants.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Answer employee inquiries and route them to the appropriate resources.
- Prepare reports, presentations, or spreadsheets as needed.
- Assist with payroll or benefits administration under supervision.
- Event Coordination: -Assist with Culture Club activities including community engagement activities, team building activities, or wellbeing activities.
- Coordinate logistics and maintain attendance records as requested.
- Research and Projects:
- Conduct research on HR best practices, policies, and trends.
- Contribute to special projects as assigned by HR managers.
- Attend Granite Partners Internship Bridge meetings.
- Create and present capstone project.
- Attend internal Internship program meetings
- Perform other duties within the HR department or other areas as assigned.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Observe all company policies, rules, and safety practices.

Here is what we are looking for:
Education/Experience:
- Must be a college or university student majoring in human resource management, general business, or a related program
- Ability to use Microsoft Office
- Experience in research and knowledge of statistics preferred
- In good academic standing (2.50+ GPA)
- The ability to pass a background check and drug screening
