Job Description
We are offering a contract for an entry-level Financial Analyst position in Eagan, Minnesota, United States. As a Financial Analyst I, your role will involve the quantitative analysis of financial data, the creation of forecasts for business, industry, and economic conditions, and the communication of this information to clients. This role is situated within the finance industry and requires a deep understanding of economic and accounting principles, the financial markets, and the reporting of financial data.
Responsibilities:
• Critically analyze and interpret financial data to aid in investment decisions
• Conduct quantitative analysis of financial information affecting investment programs
• Develop forecasts of business, industry, and economic conditions using financial information
• Utilize computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with other related financial software, to complete tasks
• Create spreadsheets, charts, and graphs to illustrate technical reports
• Analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses
• Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations as related to accounting
• Manage your time independently and efficiently
• Communicate financial information effectively, both verbally and in writing.
