Position Summary
Command Post Technologies, Inc. (CPT) is seeking a Mid-Level Cybersecurity Engineer to provide technical expertise in implementing and managing cybersecurity measures for Navy information systems. Contingent upon award, this role requires hands-on experience with cybersecurity engineering, Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS), and Vulnerability Remediation Asset Manager (VRAM), with the ability to navigate and apply DoD RMF requirements.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Execute cybersecurity engineering tasks to secure Navy information systems in accordance with DoD RMF requirements.
- Utilize eMASS to document and track RMF processes, including system controls, assessments, and authorizations.
- Monitor vulnerabilities using VRAM and support remediation efforts to mitigate risks.
- Conduct security assessments, including evaluating controls and documenting compliance findings.
- Prepare and update cybersecurity documentation, such as System Security Plans (SSPs) and Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms).
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including Information System Security Engineers (ISSEs) and program managers, to achieve Authorization to Operate (ATO).
- Support continuous monitoring activities to ensure sustained system compliance and security.
- Active Secret clearance (required)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Meets Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level II certification requirements (e.g., CAP, CISSP, CISM, etc.).
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in cybersecurity engineering.
- Hands-on experience with: Configuration Management Professional (CMPro), Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS), and Vulnerability Remediation Asset Manager (VRAM).
- Experience supporting Navy or DoD cybersecurity programs strongly desired.
- Strong understanding of DoD RMF and cybersecurity policies.
- Proficiency in vulnerability management, risk assessments, and compliance reporting.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
