Position Summary
Command Post Technologies, Inc. (CPT) is seeking a Mid-Level Information System Security Specialist to support Assessment and Authorization (A&A) and cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring the security and compliance of information systems. Contingent upon award, this position requires a strong understanding of cybersecurity engineering, test and evaluation (T&E), and A&A processes, with hands-on experience Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) and Vulnerability Remediation Asset Manager (VRAM) tools. The selected candidate will also meet IAM Level I qualifications.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities Assist with A&A processes and documentation to ensure systems comply with applicable cybersecurity standards. Utilize eMASS to document system controls, track compliance, and generate reports. Monitor and manage vulnerabilities using VRAM, ensuring timely remediation of identified risks. Support Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities, including categorization, control selection, implementation, and continuous monitoring. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and resolve cybersecurity risks and issues. Contribute to system security testing and evaluation (T&E) to validate compliance with security requirements. Maintain detailed records and ensure accurate reporting of cybersecurity activities. Required Qualifications
Active Secret clearance (required) Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in Cybersecurity Engineering, Test and Evaluation (T&E), or A&A role. High school diploma (or equivalent). Experience with the following tools and systems: Configuration Management Professional (CMPro), Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS), and Vulnerability Remediation Asset Manager (VRAM). Meets Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level I certification requirements. Familiarity with DoD RMF, cybersecurity policies, and processes. Understanding of vulnerability management and remediation practices. Experience supporting Navy or DoD cybersecurity programs strongly desired. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
