Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Recruiter to join our team. The Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates for a variety of positions, including software developers, engineering managers, project managers, business analysts, and other IT-related roles.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies for public sector IT and business consulting contracts, including job postings, advertising, social media, networking events, and outreach to potential candidates.
- Manage the recruitment process from start to finish, ensuring a positive candidate experience and timely communication with all parties involved.
- Conduct thorough screening and interviews to identify qualified candidates for open positions.
- Work closely with clients, hiring managers and proposal managers to understand their staffing needs and provide regular updates on the status of open positions.
- Collaborate with the business development team to understand staffing requirements for proposals and develop skill tables that align with the staffing requirements.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and candidates.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all recruitment activities, including candidate profiles, resumes, and interview notes.
- Manage the offer process, including negotiating salary and benefits, and coordinating with Business Development and HR to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future hiring needs.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, market conditions, and best practices in recruitment to continuously improve the effectiveness of our recruitment strategies.
- Provide guidance and support to hiring managers on recruitment best practices and industry trends.
- Five (5) years of experience in staff recruitment services, with a focus on information technology and business consulting services.
- Two (2) years of experience in staff recruitment services within the Northern California market.
- Demonstrated experience sourcing and recruiting top talent through various channels.
- Familiarity with recruiting best practices and industry trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
- Experience working in a team-oriented environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of the public sector contracting regulations and compliance requirements is preferred.
