GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB: Position will be responsible for leading and serving our shipping and warehousing team members, responsible for team engagement, development, and performance.

· Ensure that all safety standards and procedures are followed.

· Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in shipping functions on multiple shifts.

· Observes existing processes for effectiveness and edits, implements, and/or documents processes as needed to ensure :

o Safety standards are met

o Accuracy of shipments and documentation meets or exceeds standards / expectations

o All standards that shipping employees are held to are documented with training verification

o Continuous improvement

· Customer contact on all shipping issues, main point of contact (internal and external) on packaging availability for operations to include cycle counting of packaging to support operations and customers.

· Maintains customer shipping and packaging portals, established by Revere’s customers.

· Oversees Shipping/Data Entry Clerks on all 3 shifts in creating packing slips and all other appropriate paperwork needed for shipments.

· Oversees outbound UPS shipments and processes

· Direct & Indirect responsibility for scheduling trucking companies to pick up loads.

· Order all returnable packaging from customer as needed

· Reconcile all shipping discrepancies.

· General housekeeping and organization of Shipping Office, Shipping Docks, and Finished Goods warehouse.

· Manages forklift inspection and maintenance process by reviewing powered industrial vehicle checklists, arranging for repairs and maintenance, and submitting requisitions in ERP system to initiate purchase order and invoicing process

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

· High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalency

· 3-5 years’ experience in a shipping environment or supply chain role preferred

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/TASKS/ABILITIES:

· Strong interpersonal, relationship, and team-building skills; A desire to serve, develop, and engage people.

· Advanced computer skills.

· Intermediate math skills. · Exceptional Communication skills. · Must have good attendance habits that exceed current policy.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

· Frequently required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. · Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. · Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: · Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. · Noise level in the work environment is moderate.
