A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN HVAC SERVICE MANAGER

In this position, you are responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our technicians. You make sure that our team has the resources and support they need to deliver excellent service to our customers. Closely working with our dispatch team, you schedule service calls and manage our technician schedules, ensuring that we are meeting our customers' needs in a timely and efficient manner. You coach and mentor your team to ensure that they are performing at their best, providing technical support and guidance as needed.

Additionally, you work with our sales team to provide accurate and timely job estimates. Whenever you communicate directly with our customers, you do so in a professional and courteous manner. Attentive to detail, you keep accurate records of all work performed. You love leading our team to success!

WHAT IS REQUIRED TO BE A HVAC SERVICE MANAGER?

  • 5+ years of experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heating and cooling systems
  • Vast knowledge about all forms of residential heating and cooling equipment, including mini-split systems, upgraded systems, and replacements
  • Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) certification
  • Completion of an HVAC training program
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to use a smartphone and tablet
