An organization in the East of Pittsburgh is in need of an Accounting Clerk.


The position temporary to hire!


The position is 100% on-site.


The Accounting Clerk would be responsible for the following duties:

•Prepare and submit regulatory filings, such as business licenses, annual reports, and census reports.

•Process accounts payable (AP) invoices, including data entry, payment processing, mailing, and document filing.

•Verify transactions like payments and deposits, coordinating with banking institutions as needed.

•Generate and distribute daily financial reports for management and team members.

•Identify and resolve discrepancies in ledgers and accounts by tracing them to their source.

•Maintain accurate and up-to-date company ledgers and financial records.

•Oversee payment and billing details for external service providers, contractors, and vendors.

•Prepare and manage financial documents, including bills, invoices, pay orders, accounts payable/receivable, and purchase orders.

•Perform additional duties as assigned to support department goals.


The works hours are from 8am-5pm with some flexibility.

•Degree is a plus but not required

•Strong Excel skills are required

•Prior QuickBooks experience is a huge plus but not required

•Prior Accounts payable or receivable experience preferred.
