As Regional Sales Manager, you will manage and engage with independent retail distributor/dealership to facilitate and maximize the share and sales of company products in an assigned region.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with management and sales staff to achieve Business Plan that sets specific marketing goals and objectives for each distributorship/dealer in assigned region Works with distributor/dealer sales management on sales pipeline, account development plans, awareness and participation in assigned region. Acts as primary liaison/contact between distributorship/dealer and Company and is responsible for communications on marketing programs; relationship issues; changes in corporate positions and/or policy Makes personal visits to each distributorship/dealer for the purpose of enhancing product knowledge; marketing objective management; end user/customer visits; corporate communication on behalf of the Company While not traveling, maintains continual contact with each distributorship/dealer through telephone, teams' meetings, e-mail and other means of communication for the purpose of product sales promotion, problem resolution, marketing needs, goal achievement status Participates in product training activities both at the factory and dealer locations; prospect/customer visits to the factory; other promotional events as directed Daily use of Salesforce CRM to record business activity Ability to become technically proficient on all KION equipment to include new products for the purpose of demonstration Ability to work closely with the internal KION support staff to help meet customers' requirements Tasks and Qualifications:
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Business Administration or related field preferred Equivalent experience is accepted Sales experience in the industrial truck industry or related equipment sales preferred Experience with territory management Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Proficient in the use of Saleforce.com
