Job Summary
The QA Analyst will be responsible for supporting medical care practices in Ambulatory or Acute Care facilities. This role focuses on manual testing of ETL processes to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity. The ideal candidate will possess strong SQL skills, experience with data validation, and a deep understanding of healthcare data environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform manual testing of ETL processes to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity
• Validate data transformations, data loads, and data extractions
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ETL processes
• Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies in data
• Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and business analysts to understand data requirements and business rules
• Conduct root cause analysis of data issues and work with the team to resolve them
• Ensure compliance with data quality standards and best practices
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to testing processes and results
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on data-related issues
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Strong understanding of medical care practice environments (Ambulatory or Acute Care facilities)
• Proven experience in manual testing, with a focus on ETL and data testing
• Strong understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing, and data integration
• Proficiency in SQL and ability to write complex queries for data validation
• Experience with data quality tools and frameworks
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work directly with business teams in medical facilities (Healthcare Execs, Doctors, Nursing Leadership, Practice administrative teams, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus

• Experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse, Apache Airflow, & DBT
