Job Description
We are currently seeking an HR Business Partner for our client located in San Francisco, California. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity, where the primary focus will be on employee relations. As an HR Business Partner, you will ensure our HR practices are in line with the relevant employment laws and regulations and provide guidance to our team on HR-related issues.
Responsibilities:
• Handle all aspects of employee relations with meticulous attention to detail.
• Carry out comprehensive investigations into employee relations matters and provide recommendations based on findings.
• Maintain a detail-oriented demeanor in all interactions, ensuring confidentiality and impartiality.
• Stay updated with the latest federal and state employment laws and regulations to ensure HR compliance.
• Formulate and implement employee relations strategies that comply with legal requirements, mitigating potential risks.
• Encourage open communication within the organization, providing guidance on HR-related matters.
• Work together with HR partners to enhance existing HR processes and policies in line with best practices.
• Support in other HR operations such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and benefits administration when necessary.
• Use software tools such as Microsoft Suite, HRIS, Google Suite, and Zoom for various HR tasks
• Minimum of three years of experience working as an HR Generalist/Business Partner or in a similar role within the Non-Profit sector.
• Proven track record in Employee Relations Investigations, demonstrating the ability to handle sensitive matters professionally and confidentially.
• Strong knowledge and experience in Employee Relations, including the ability to build trust and rapport with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Expertise in Labor Employee Relations, with the ability to manage and resolve conflicts effectively.
• Proficient in HR Compliance, ensuring the organization adheres to all relevant HR policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Familiarity with California Labor Law, with the ability to apply this knowledge in day-to-day HR activities.
