Travel MRI Tech - $1,957 per week in Wilmington, NC

Job Title: MRI Technologist Job Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology Job Duration: 13-week contract Shift: Night Shift, Tuesday to Friday, 4x8-Hour (22:30 - 07:00) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required License: NC or Compact license required at time of start Certifications: BLS, ARRT Must-Have: - Experience with abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, spine, musculoskeletal, diffusion (non-brain), gradient echo imaging, MIP, MRP, peripheral magnetic resonance, spin echo images, surface coils, T1 and T2, CINE Job Description: - RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be arranged onsite. - Any call-offs or additional RTO on unit could potentially lead to cancellation and not be rehired. - Locals are accepted with different rates. - Preference for experience in chest imaging and image post-processing. - No call, float, or weekend requirements. - Contract staff expected to work during catastrophic events, mass casualty, or disaster. - Familiarity with patient groups such as adolescents, adults, and geriatrics is required. Neonates, infants, and pediatric familiarity is preferred. - Equipment includes GE and Siemens systems. - Hospital orientation during the first week, with availability required each day. - Dress code: Royal blue scrubs. - Must complete modules prior to start, with hours varying by specialty. - Maximum 7 days of RTO allowed as long as it does not fall on a holiday. - Candidate must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. - Orientation and module hours are not billable. Candidates must be comfortable with floating to other units based on skill sets and hospital census needs. Must have charting experience, with Epic being the most common. References are required at the time of start, with two manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months highly preferred. Candidates may not work more than 5 consecutive days or more than 60 hours in a week. Please note that travel pairs are allowed but must work on different units.
