As an Activities Director, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating engaging activities for clients attending the medical adult daycare. Your role is crucial in providing a positive and fulfilling experience for residents, promoting their physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Responsibilities

Develop and implement a diverse range of activities to meet the needs and interests of clients. Coordinate and lead group activities such as games, crafts, exercise classes, and social events. Collaborate with staff and clients to create a monthly activity calendar. Assess individual clients' needs and preferences to tailor activities accordingly. Provide one-on-one support and companionship to clients who may require additional assistance or have limited mobility. Organize outings and trips to local attractions or community events. Maintain accurate records of resident participation and activity progress. Experience

To be successful in this role, you should have: Experience in care or a related field such as recreational therapy, social work, or dementia care. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with clients, families, and staff. Knowledge of aging issues and the ability to provide counseling or support as needed. Familiarity with memory care programs and techniques for individuals with dementia. Understanding of the unique needs of residents in a nursing home or assisted living setting.
