Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the landfill site, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Supervise the waste disposal processes, including the operation of compactors track type tractors and heavy equipment.
- Develop and implement waste management strategies to optimize landfill space and minimize environmental impact.
- Train and oversee staff on proper waste handling and safety procedures.
- Collaborate with local government and regulatory agencies on waste management policies and compliance requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of landfill operations to ensure adherence to industry standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Waste Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in waste management or landfill operations.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and safety standards.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment, including compactors and tractors.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Solid waste cert is a huge plus
