Based in Seattle, the role will report to the Principal Expansion Program Manager in Seattle and help expand Remitly's global licencing presence while ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory environments. You will collaborate with colleagues in Legal, Compliance, Operations, Finance, Customer Success, Product, and other teams across Remitly's global offices. As the Senior Regulatory Change Program Manager you will manage the end-to-end regulatory change process, ensuring that licensing applications and regulatory changes are met, and overseeing the implementation of strategic improvements that support Remitly's seamless BAU operations. Your work will allow Remitly to maintain regulatory compliance and accelerate its growth.You Will:Lead the ongoing management of regulatory change initiatives, ensuring compliance with existing requirements and forward-looking preparation for upcoming regulationsScope regulatory requirements and ensure cross-functional teams meet these requirements within established timelinesEstablish a center of excellence for regulatory change, building frameworks and processes that enable scalable, proactive management of regulatory needsOversee seamless, end-to-end coordination across teams, with proactive risk identification and mitigationPlan for dependencies, anticipate risks, and mitigate blockers to ensure on-time delivery of assigned initiativesLead program rituals like standups, reviews, and retrospectivesBuild and maintain project documentation to support continuity and scalabilityDevelop frameworks and processes that enable repetition and scalabilityManage multiple, concurrent project typesWilling to support ad hoc needs as they ariseCreatively and independently solve emergent challengesYou Have:5 years of experience overseeing complex projects, building and scaling process improvements, and working with diverse teams in an agile environmentExperience in regulated financial services and regulatory change management (i.e. PSD2/3 implementation, Business Continuity Planning etc)Expertise in managing payment licences preparation and application, and working with regulatory institutionsProven ability to build and scale regulatory programs, working effectively across various teamsExperience solving ambiguous problems and building programs from the ground upExperience working in multicultural environments; you adjust your communication based on team member role type and backgroundFamiliarity with Jira or similar project management toolsA data-centric approach to inform and guide decision-makingWillingness to travel to headquarters and other global office locationsCompensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $142,000-$160,000$. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
