Medical Contract Negotiation Specialist

Location: Doral, FL (Onsite) Pay: $55,487 - $62,563 per year Position Overview BilliMD is seeking a highly skilled Medical Contract Negotiation Specialist to manage and negotiate contracts with insurance payers, healthcare networks, and other third-party entities. This critical role focuses on securing optimal reimbursement terms for our providers while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. If you have expertise in healthcare contracting and a strong ability to analyze and negotiate favorable terms, we’d like to hear from you Key Responsibilities Contract Negotiation: Initiate, negotiate, and finalize contracts with payers, securing favorable reimbursement rates and terms. Rate Analysis & Benchmarking: Analyze proposed rates against industry standards and identify opportunities for improvement. Provider Enrollment Support: Assist in provider onboarding, aligning contract terms with credentialing requirements. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with payer representatives to support ongoing negotiation efforts. Compliance & Risk Management: Review contract language to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements. Data Analysis & Reporting: Monitor performance, reimbursement trends, and payer compliance; prepare insights for leadership. Collaboration: Partner with Credentialing, Billing, and Operations teams to ensure smooth contract implementation. Issue Resolution: Resolve disputes related to terms, reimbursement, or payer compliance. Renewals & Amendments: Manage contract timelines, initiating renewals and updates to maintain provider relationships. Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 3 years in healthcare contract negotiation, reimbursement, or a related field. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field preferred. Skills: Strong negotiation and communication skills with a proven track record. Excellent analytical abilities for data interpretation. Knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards and complex contract language. Highly detail-oriented with outstanding organizational skills.
