Senior Estimator - Mission Critical

Position: Senior Estimator Location: Denver, CO Salary Range: $110,000 - $130,000 Bonus In business for over 40 years, my client is one of the most respected construction companies in the country. We are looking for an estimator to join the mission-critical division and contribute to a top-level organization. If you have over 10 years of experience in data center construction with at least 5 in estimating, let's connect Responsibilities Prepare estimates with high level of accuracy for all design stages. Ensure estimating cost database is up to date. Supervise and train estimators and engineers assigned to assist with estimating. Manage and oversee estimating team, and submission of bids. Consult with all engaged parties when required to discuss and formulate estimates. Manage the preconstruction design schedule for programs. Assist the operations team in planning procedures for manufacturing. Manage prequalification process for subcontractors to ensure project performance. Prepare takeoffs and estimates of materials, labor, and use of equipment required. Use Revit with engineers (or other programs) in generating quantities from design models. Manage multiple preconstruction projects at once. Review subcontractor bids for conformity to determine acceptable bids Understand proper bid creation Review and research drawings and documents to determine costs. Explain project budgets to the operations team and customers. Create final estimates with the assistance of the chief estimator. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications 5 years of estimating experience on mission-critical construction projects. Degree in engineering or construction management preferred. Strong software experience including Bluebeam, MC2, Revit, SketchUp, OST, & more. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft and iSQFT. Ability to complete large complex bid projects. Presentation and sales skills for project pursuits. Experience with data center and power markets. Successful track record of accurate bids, takeoffs, and proposals.
