McKinsey and Company Inc. US is seeking a Sr Product Reliability Engineer I in Atlanta, GA. Gathering of business requirements and meeting with vendors to articulate business needs while curating detailed recommendations for best-in-class options. Translating business requirements into technical specifications. Architect end to end solutions, develop MVP, pilot, and eventually deploy solutions into Production. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and UX design, to ensure solutions meet customer needs and are technically feasible. Designing solutions and collaborate effectively using a variety of tools, such as Visio/Miro. Integrating real-time and ETL-based systems using APIs. Build custom solutions leveraging Avaya Aura stacks development platforms including Breeze, AES and Voice Portal. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete tasks using Agile practices, including sprints and projects. Deploy on-premises and cloud telephony solutions at scale on VMware and in the cloud. Create and manage traditional ACD (automated call distribution) setups. Troubleshoot issues with SIP and H.323 protocols not withstanding (S)RTP, RTSP and be knowledgeable in networking and its relation to telephony concepts of packet loss, jitter, latency, and IP routing along with firewall policy controls. Address voice over internet protocol QoS issues and implement mitigation strategies. Understand and apply hands on experience to essential protocols and components including HTTP, DHCP, DNS, LDAP, SSO, TLS, mTLS and load balancing. Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks by creating automation scripts using various languages/platforms. Manage (and administer) various Avaya UC and Contact Center products including System Manager, Session Border Controller Enterprise, Session Manager, Communication Manager, Media Server, Experience Portal, Breeze, AADS and CMS. Document and execute change managements involving test protocols, projected outcomes, and fallback plans to address redundancy/resiliency use cases and unforeseen systems malfunctions. Collect and analyze logs from multiple sources and corelate data in order to come to finding root causes. Build value add analytics data models that include parsing through raw logs, SQL back-end sources and SNMP data and where necessary, setup data stores to facilitate desired outcomes. Design and execute cloud builds (AWS) for microservices and infrastructure as a service, ranging from local to global scale deployments. Develop code through thorough understanding of secure coding practices, code quality, and engineering practices, such as Test-Driven Development while working within DevOps and SRE principles. Administer Linux and Windows based systems. Contribute to the overall strategy of telephony by leveraging your solid grasp of UC software-as-a-service offerings in the current market. Telecommuting permitted. Qualified applicants must possess a Bachelors degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field or foreign degree equivalent. Qualified applicants for this position must have a minimum 5 years of experience in voice communications including call center environments with technical knowledge of VoIP/IP telephony systems including both software and hardware based solutions. Experience must include: engineering experience with the Avaya Aura platform (System Manager, Session Manager, Communication Manager, AMS, SBCe, AADS, CMS, Breeze, G450); configuring and optimizing VoIP services including call routing, QoS, carrier SIP terminations, H.323, IVR; understanding of standard protocols including TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, LDAP, SSO, DHCP, TLS and load balancing; ability to administer Windows and Linux based systems; deploying cloud centric solutions with at least one major cloud provider: AWS or Azure; understanding of secure coding practices, code quality and engineering practices including Test-Driven De elopment; coding with SQL and either Java or .NET; understanding of DevOps and SRE principles.
