Job Summary:The Global Professional Development Associate supports the design, coordination, and implementation of global learning initiatives. As a member of the Global Professional Development (GPD) department, the team member is responsible for providing administrative support for the following programs that support the mission, purpose, and vision of IAAPA's GPD. This individual partners with GPD Team to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support the strategic vision and direction of the organization, for both current and future business needs.

Ability to correspond timely and accurately with internal and external individuals of all levels in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner pertaining to all types of communication, including e-mails, telephone, reports, letters, etc.

As a member of the Global Professional Development (GPD) department, the team member is responsible for providing administrative support for the following programs that support the mission, purpose, and vision of IAAPA's GPD. This individual partners with GPD Team to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support the strategic vision and direction of the organization, for both current and future business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responds to inquiries in the Education email inbox
- Provides accurate and timely information and excellent guest service to members and regional teams regarding professional development programs and initiatives
- Support IAAPA Webinars and Education Partnerships
- Coordinates global webinar and webcast activity
- Serves as point of contact for logistics and webinar planning
- Communicates with attendees and stakeholders regarding logistics, registration, and post-event metrics
- Global Education Evaluations
- Tracks all global event evaluations
- Reports evaluation results monthly to management and appropriate stakeholders
- IAAPA Academic Relations:
- Identifies and tracks (globally) universities, colleges, technical schools that support the attractions industry, and respective contacts
- Identifies global student clubs that support the attractions industry
- Work on special GPD department or IAAPA projects as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Support the creation and delivery of learning content, including e-learning modules, webinars, and in-person training sessions.
- Collaborate with regional teams to ensure global training programs are customized and culturally relevant.
- Maintain the Learning Management System (LMS) by uploading content, tracking participation, and generating reports on learning outcomes.
- Stay updated on trends and best practices in global learning and development.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skill Required:
- Associate degree, or 2 years related experience
- Experience within the attractions industry (amusement park, water park, zoo, aquarium, museum, science center, family entertainment center, supplier, or manufacturer) preferred, but not required
- Highly organized and proficient attention to detail skills
- Superior communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving ability
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft office
- Proven ability to meet deadlines
- Proven experience prioritizing and balancing multiple, on-going high-profile projects
- Self-motivation and the ability to work with little supervision
- Negotiating, networking, and relationship-building skills
- Excellent project management skills
