Machine Safety Engineer

This firm primarily services companies in the food/beverage and packaging industries,  and candidates will be focusing on integrating safeguard machinery into automated systems and production lines. Employment Type: Direct Hire Expected Pay Range: $90,000- $100,000 annual salary Location: Duluth, Georgia Job Requirements: - 3-5 years of experience  working in a manufacturing or packaging environment, preferably focused on machine safety and guarding design - Extensive knowledge and experience with Allen Bradley/Rockwell PLC programming systems - Proficiency in control p anel/system design in AutoCAD - Strong knowledge of SCADA and industrial network configuration - Ideal candidates have experience using SISTEMA machine safety design software In addition to these requirements, candidates must hold United States citizenship, per the client’s request. Job Details: - Design automation systems (electrical and pneumatic)  and accompanying logic narratives/systems architecture - P rogram PLC/HMI system codes from scratch - Perform testing and troubleshooting on systems and programming - Travel to sites for commissioning and startup when required - Direct the design efforts for control panel fabrication and system installation packages - Assess risk and implement safety devices where required  - Specify components and document control system design Schedule: Monday-Friday, start time between 7:00-8:00a.
