In this position, you will lead the design and development lifecycle for our embedded hardware/software cybersecurity concept. During the development process, you will be responsible for leading iterative improvements to the platform's security architecture and designing new implementations of security controls based on product need. What You Drive at DTNA
  • Lead the iterative improvement/development of embedded software that meets the highest cybersecurity standards
  • Take ownership of ATG-specific cybersecurity control implementation specifications
  • Design and implement security architectures and features for embedded hardware, software, and communications systems to meet evolving needs of the autonomous platform
  • Support internal and external stakeholders to influence and drive technical decision-making
  • Support professional and technical development of fellow Security Engineers
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives through optimization of processes and best practices
  • Collaborate with product engineering on security during all phases of product development
  • Conduct research to identify new attack vectors against DTNA autonomous products and services
  • Provide cybersecurity feature technical support for suppliers and development partners.
Knowledge You Should Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field with 6+ years of relevant experience
  • Hardware and software security architecture design and integration
  • Experience in design and engineering of security requirements and security controls for networks and embedded platforms
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity standards (ISO 21434, UNECE R155) and best practices for embedded systems
  • Knowledge of cryptographic protocols and best practices.
  • Experience working with cryptographic protocols/libraries in Autosar
  • Secure configuration and implementation of networking and communications protocols
  • Threat modeling, system-level risk assessments, vulnerability analysis and research
  • Knowledge of publish-subscribe communications architectures
  • An attached resume is required.
Exceptional Candidates Might Have
  • Vehicle Diagnostics standards such as ISO 14229, ISO 15765, SAE J1939
  • 3+ years of embedded hardware/software design and development preferred
  • Experience with Autosar Secured On Board Communications and Autosar Diagnostics
  • Knowledge of certificate-based diagnostics
  • Experience with two or more of the following like real-time software development, vehicle electronics and controls, embedded systems design, application security, penetration testing, incident response
  • Existing Cybersecurity certification or willingness to obtain certification.
