Senior Analyst - Compensation

Job Overview:
The Senior Compensation Analyst is responsible, on behalf of our client, for designing, evaluating, and maintaining competitive and equitable compensation programs that align with the company's strategic objectives. This position partners with HR, Finance, and senior leadership to ensure employee satisfaction, retention, and compliance with regulatory requirements, driving organizational success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive compensation strategy.
  • Regularly evaluate and analyze compensation programs to ensure competitiveness and equity.
  • Conduct benchmarking and market analyses to align compensation practices with industry standards.
  • Manage job evaluations to ensure accurate job classifications and salary structures.
  • Oversee salary administration programs, including merit increases, promotions, and adjustments.
  • Lead the annual compensation review process, ensuring data accuracy and timely execution.
  • Provide expert guidance to HR Business Partners and managers on compensation-related matters.
  • Develop and deliver communication materials and training on compensation policies and practices.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including FLSA, EEO, and pay equity standards.
  • Identify compliance risks and recommend strategies to mitigate potential issues.
Requirements Include:
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years of compensation analysis experience.
  • Preferred: 5+ years of progressive compensation analysis and administrative experience.
Skills:
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data sets and deliver actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in compensation benchmarking tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to influence stakeholders.
  • Advanced attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
Certifications:
  • Preferred: Certified Compensation Professional (CCP).
Knowledge:
  • Familiarity with HRIS and compensation management systems (e.g., UKG, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors).
  • Understanding of compensation regulations, including pay equity and compliance standards.
Key Competencies:
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset to address complex compensation challenges.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Collaborative approach while maintaining strong individual accountability.
  • Clear, professional, and factual communication style.

Working Environment:
  • Corporate office located in St. Louis, MO, with a typical office setup, including ergonomic furniture and climate control.
